Lift Pass Office & Lift Passes

lift pass office Located in the central square of the Sierra Nevada ski resort, "Plaza de Andalucia" and well marked with the word "TAQUILLAS". You must pass by here to buy your lift pass before going up any lifts. They generally open at 8.30 each morning. You can buy your pass for the next day after 5pm.

Pre-booking your pass may save you money but more importantly it saves time, hassle and queueing which may ultimately delay you significantly in getting onto the slopes!

Ski Lockers

ski lockers sierra nevada spainLocated in the passageway entrance to the "Borreguiles" cabin lift (below the control tower), on the slopes in Borreguiles in the Sierra Nevada ski resort.

Lockers are code controlled and can be hired for 15.00€ per day or for the whole season at 360.00€.

Lockers are large enough to store up to four sets of skis and boots and there is also a place to leave day gear (coats, backpacks etc.) to the left of the main Borreguiles restaurant building.

Ski Clothing Hire

However, it is highly recommended to do your best to "beg, borrow or steal" clothing before coming out for reasons of expense and also personal comfort.

Hire clothing is not always the most apt for certain weather conditions both in terms of water-proofing and insulation.

Night Life & Apres Ski

apres ski sierra nevada spainThe Sierra Nevada ski resort unleashes an extremely lively scene for the party animal by day and by night, especially during the high and mid-season periods.

There is a little catch however... You do not go out until 11 pm at the very earliest. This is when most bars open their doors.

Winding their way up the road into the mid-zone of the resort you will find numerous disco-bars in which to party the night away until dawn if you so desire. The most popular bars include: Mango, Chimenea, Fame, Sol, Soho, Jaleo, Crescendo and Chicle. During the course of the season they hold several promotional "fiestas", giving away gifts upon purchase of drinks.
