This attractive rustic-style hotel claims to be the highest in Europe, and offers quality lodgings and services located at the top of the ski village. If you´re looking for a great quality hotel which is away from it all, then this is a good choice.
The nearby Parador chairlift gives access down to the lower squares area of the village where the main gondolas which lead up to the ski slopes are located (as well as the majority of shops and restaurants).
Alternatively, guests can make the short drive up above the village to Los Peñones car park (parking charges apply) to access the "Virgen de las Nieves" chairlift (not suitable for beginners).
In addition, pistes have been cut into the mountainside in a track fashion that give direct access from the hotel to the slopes and back for experienced skiers: the piste down is graded red but those confident on tough blues should be able to use this with confidence.
The hotel offers its own shuttle bus service to and from the lower squares and gondolas.
